My beautiful, perfect girlfriend and I came here for our first time in Greece. Wow everything was so amazing. The space is perfect for 2. It was so cozy and cute. Crack the windows and enjoy a beautiful day anytime. We really felt right at home. There is a cat sanctuary right next door so we had visitors every morning and it was adorable. Walking distance from a bunch of cafes, restaurants, and the beach! And Father Jacob we met was the kindest man. Really made us feel like we were neighbors for years already. We came home one day after searching for eggs at the store to a bowl of fresh ones sitting at our door. They were so tasty better than any eggs I’ve ever had. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Kini! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und in toller Lage, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay in this cozy Mediterranean cottage! If you are looking for an authentic Greek vacation experience withing walking-distance of the beach and bus stop (and yet very quiet), this place will serve you perfectly. We had a wonderful week at Iakovos’ place. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable and offered excellent value for money.Iakovos is an incredibly kind and proactive host, always attentive and ready to help. He really takes care of his guests, and we couldn’t fault his hospitality.The only point to mention is that we had imagined the property to be a little more independent, secluded and closer to the coast. It is an excellent base for exploring the area, but perhaps not the ideal place if you are looking to spend the entire day relaxing and enjoying a completely secluded, beachside atmosphere.Overall, a very positive experience and we would warmly recommend Iakovos as a host.

This is a stunning property in Kini. Walkable to local shops and restaurants and the beach. Very comfortable for long or short stays. Jacob is a fantastic host with lots of local recommendations. He assisted us with transfers and organising an ATV for riding around the island. We loved Syros and Kini is the perfect spot for exploring but also a great place just to relax. We loved being visited by the lovely cats from the sanctuary next door, but they wouldn’t trouble you if you are not a cat person. Der Aufenthalt bei Iakovos und seiner Familie ist absolut zu empfehlen! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und ist ein super Ausgangspunkt um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Fußläufig erreicht man den Strand von Kini mit einer Auswahl an Restaurants und den besten Spot für die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge auf der Insel. Auch weitere Orte und Strände waren leicht mit dem Bus zu erreichen, der fast vor der Haustüre abfährt. We had an amazing time at Syrolia Village. The whole house was exactly as described, and even better! Everything was super clean, nicely equipped and set in a beautiful small village. Jacob did an amazing job hosting us, he was very proactive, communicated promptly, gave us many recommendations and even managed to get us a motorbike for rent right in Kini. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return!The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt cozy, comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was excellent: the beach, seaside restaurants, and a mini market were all within a 5-minute walk. Kini itself is a charming village and a real gem.We especially enjoyed the private terrace and the beautiful Cycladic landscape views (not a sea view but equally scenic and lovely). The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals. The cats from the nearby shelter were also a delightful addition.Communication with our host was outstanding. We received recommendations for restaurants, beaches and hike. As vegetarians we particularly appreciated the personalized local food suggestions. Our host's family even brought us fresh eggs and a homemade cake during our stay, adding to the thoughtfull amd welcoming vibe. Highly recommended!
